Residential and Commercial Carpet Cleaning

J&A Carpet Cleaning proudly provides steam cleaning services, the number one method of carpet cleaning recommended by most carpet manufacturers. We achieve this by using a method of steam cleaning called the "Hot Water Extraction Method", or HWEM for short. While there are other methods of cleaning carpet, the HWEM removes deep dug dirt and allergens from your carpet and cleans more than just the visible surface.

Why is it important to have your carpet steam cleaned regularly?

Everyday we bring debris from outside and into our carpets. Dirt, pet hair and dust mites collect in carpet fibers and become a layer of dirt buildup/grime over time. Dirt buildup found in carpet fibers contaminates air quality and consequently produces a less healthier indoor environment. Although methods of self carpet cleaning such as vacuuming helps pick up surface dirt, they do not clean deep down into the carpet fibers. Regular steam cleaning helps remove the dirt buildup found in carpet fibers and most importantly helps maintain a healthier indoor environment.

How often should your carpets be cleaned?

Most carpet manufacturers recommend to get your carpet steam cleaned every 12 months. In addition, we recommend to get your carpet cleaned before the winter season as we are indoors most of the time.

What to expect during our visit

J&A Carpet Cleaning Steps:

  1. Inspection of carpet

Inspect and talk about condition of carpet. We ensure to answer any questions or concerns prior to cleaning your carpet.

   2. Pre-Vacuuming

We vacuum before beginning the steam cleaning process to remove all dry soil and debris from the

top surface of your carpet. This allows for better results and eases the process of the HWEM.

   3. Pre-Spray

We spray an environment- friendly safe enzyme solution to your carpet which helps loosen up embedded dirt found in carpet fibers.

   4. Rinse & Steam Extraction

Extraction consists of the removal of pre-spray solution and carpet fiber buildup. Hot water is propelled into carpet with high pressure. A high- powered vacuum then extracts hot water, pre-spray, and soil.

   5. Drying

High velocity air movers are placed to speed up the drying time. Carpet is typically dry within 3-6 hours.

   6. Walk Through (Post Inspection)

Walk through inspection and ensure that you are completely satisfied with our service!
